Deaf since birth, throughout my whole life I have pursued various interests. Employed by the CNR since 1998, I don't think that my job is a monotone one. My roles are, indeed, quite varied.
Depending on the project we're working on, I might be an (amateurish) graphic designer, a web designer or a (somewhat) improptu programmer (usually in php and/or javascript). Or I might be a linguistic consultant on matters pertaining to sign language(s). Sometimes I even translate written texts to/from English, other times I write captions for videos in sign language.
