Luca Paulon received the M.S. degree in electronics engineering and the Ph.D. degree in mathematical models and methods for technology and society from the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, in 2000 and 2013, respectively. He is a senior engineer, IT expert, R&D consultant, co-founder and co-head of the Laboratory on Simulation and Optimization of Services of the Italian National Health Service at the Department of Biomedicine and Prevention, Faculty of Medicine, University of Rome Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy. His current research interests at the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) include the industrial research and experimental development of electroceuticals and digital helpers against fatigue and their exploitation within novel healthcare services for improving life and business continuity of citizen.
