Laura Marcon is a postdoctoral fellow at ISTC-CNR and a member of the Laboratory of Agent-Based Social Simulation (LABSS). She holds a PhD in Moral Philosophy from the University of Granada, obtained under a co-tutelle agreement with the Department of Economics and Management at the University of Trento.
Her research focuses on the dynamics of social norms and behavioral change under risk and uncertainty, within projects such as Norms at Risk, with particular attention to the role of trendsetters in social networks. Her broader work addresses working time reduction, social capital, and inequality during the ecological transition, as well as social inference and joint commitments.
Methodologically, she combines surveys and experimental economics with philosophical theoretical and normative frameworks.
