CfP AISC 2024: Hybrid Minds: Brain, Behavior and Society in the Age of AI

Hybrid Minds:Brain, Behavior and Societyin the Age of AIThe 20th AISC Conference will focus on the impact of recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) on the human mind. With the large-scale deployment of AI-powered applications in the near future, the intertwining between human minds and technological artifacts becomes increasingly deep, intricate and difficult to explain. Moreover, social interactions are increasingly mediated by AI with unforeseen effects for societal dynamics. The conference Hybrid Minds seeks to explore the multifaceted nature of this complex relationship in a truly interdisciplinary perspective. How are cognitive processes affected when people use these new technologies? How do they differ (if they do) from traditional processes? What societal and ethical repercussions does the advent of new technologies bring? How is human language implicated in these processes? We welcome presentations discussing current advancements and ongoing research, as well as presentations fostering interdisciplinary dialogue among the diverse subfields of cognitive science.  Important Dates
