Between 1979 and 2009 I was a researcher in the Institute of Cognitive Science and Technology (former Institute of Psychology), working on cognitive processes in early childhood, sensorimotor basis of intelligence and comparison between human and non-human primates. This latter had a key role in understanding phylogenesys of cognitive capacities. Afterards, my research activity included also the impact of new communication technologies on learning processes, designing and producing cellular automata, neural networks and multimedial prototypes.
Between 2001 and 2006 I was Professor of General Psychology, Learning and Memory in the University of Molise.
Since 2009 I am technologist, working as Coordinator of a Field office of ISTC and manager of the Primate Center of ISTC, hosted in the Bioparco of Rome.
Since 2012 I am in charge of the ISTC activities of dissemination and relations with URP.
I am content manager of the ISTC website and in charge of alternating school-work projects.
