Short profile: 

PhD in Functional Neuroimaging in 2008 (ITAB). In 2008, I started my post-doctoral career at The University of Birmingham, School of Psychology. In 2011, I moved to the Institute of Neuroscience at Newcastle University. Since 2012, I am an Independent Researcher at National Research Council - Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies. In 2014 and 2015, I have been Visiting Professor at Neural Control of Movement Lab, Department of Health Sciences and Technology ETH, Zurich, Switzerland. From 2015 I am Adjunct Professor at Department of Information Engineering - Università Politecnica delle Marche, Ancona, IT-60131 Italy. Professor of Bio-imaging and Brain Research at the department of Biomedical Engineering (Teaching Code B402). From 2016, I am also Visiting Professor at Department of Human Kinesiology, Movement Control & Neuroplasticity Research Group, KU Leuven, Belgium.

Research

I am currently involved in planning, organising and running experiments with different neuroimaging techniques, such as EEG/MEG, fMRI and concurrent EEG/fMRI. As evidenced by my publications, I have developed strong collaborations with Italian, German, Dutch and English scientists, in various universities and research facilities.
