Capabilities and Relational Practice in Mental Health

CaRe Lab conducts independent research on mental health interventions selected for their alignment with ethical, relational, and human rights principles. Our work focuses on how these interventions contribute to expanding real possibilities for living in ways that are meaningful, for participating in social life, and for making informed choices. We are especially interested in investigating how support is practiced in relationships, and how it relates to agency, recognition, and non-coercive forms of care. Our goal is to support excellence in mental health through constructive evaluation, grounded in both ethical reasoning and relational understanding.
